Omnipher was founded on the necessity for change and a vision for the future—a future where lost and forgotten lip balms are thing of the past, where the discomfort of chapped lips without relief at hand is unheard of, and where everyday essentials are always at hand.
Founded in September 2023 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Omnipher is deeply grateful for the incredible support received from campus organizations and university programs. Special thanks go out to the Founders RSO, the Technology Entrepreneur Center (TEC), the Zero2One RSO, and all the remarkable individuals who have supported us on our journey!
To Bear All
The brand name “Omnipher,” blending “omni” (all) with “pher” (to carry), perfectly encapsulates our commitment to keeping everyday essentials always at hand. It signifies our promise to ensure that you have what you need, exactly when you need it. This philosophy is directly tied to our tagline, reinforcing the idea of ultimate accessibility and convenience for everyone, and making it clear that with Omnipher, you’re always prepared, no matter where life takes you.
Pariyat Aggarwal
Pariyat, one of the founders of Omnipher, is a marketing and information systems student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. An alcohol ink artist and a classical dance performer, Pariyat lets creativity and experiences revolutionize expectations. She met Nick during the early stages of Omnipher’s ideation, immediately believed in his idea and leaped onto his visionary boat to provide people a solution they never knew they needed!
Nick Militello
Nick, one of the founders of Omnipher, is a mechanical engineering student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. A maker at heart, Nick enjoys crafting things, lifting weights, and tackling challenging problems. His personal struggle with losing and forgetting lip balm, especially critical during his time on Accutane medication which necessitates constant lip hydration, inspired the creation of Omnipher. Like many, he found traditional lip balm tubes inconvenient, sparking the journey towards a more reliable solution.
